WAHPETON CURBSIDE SPRING CLEANUP WEEK MAY 12-16 2008 All clean-up items must be curbside and placed in bags or boxes where possible, on your regular garbage pick-up day. Items should be limited to a size that can be handled and loaded by one person (limit of 50# per container). Furniture items such as chairs, couches, TV's and mattresses will be accepted. Construction materials of one yard or less will be accepted (siding, shingles, etc.) Quantities in excess of one yard will not be removed. Paint cans with lids off and completely dry will be accepted. No hazardous waste, oil, paint or liquids in any form. No batteries or tires will be accepted. No appliances (white goods), microwaves or de-humidifiers will be accepted. No grass clippings or leaves as they can be deposited at the compost collection sites at any time. No branches or tree limbs will be accepted. Regularly generated household waste is not considered part of the spring clean up. Please do not set normal refuse with clean-up items. Waste from commercial sources are not acceptable. |
